Ingredients
340 g bowtie pasta (farfalle)
2 large chicken breasts
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Pat chicken breasts dry and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
- Cook bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, drain, and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer, then stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth.
- Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and extra Cajun spice if desired.
- Toss pasta with sauce, adding reserved pasta water to thin if needed.
- Slice rested chicken and place on top. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
