Description

Turn your weeknight dinner into a spicy, creamy feast with this One-Pan Creamy Sweet and Spicy Cajun Chicken Pasta! This quick dinner is loaded with tender Cajun-spiced chicken, rich parmesan cream sauce, and sweet cherry tomatoes. It’s the perfect fusion of bold flavor and simple prep — ideal for anyone craving comfort food with a kick. Whether you’re searching for easy dinner ideas, one-pan meals, or crowd-pleasing pasta dishes, this recipe is a must-try!

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon honey

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

8 oz fettuccine pasta

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

1 to 1.5 cups hot water (for pasta)

Instructions

1. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through and golden. Remove and set aside.

3. Lower heat and add garlic and cherry tomatoes to the same skillet. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until fragrant and blistered.

4. Pour in heavy cream, drizzle honey, and stir. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until fully melted and smooth.

6. Add fettuccine and hot water. Stir, cover, and simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally.

7. Slice the rested chicken and return to the pan.

8. Stir in chopped parsley, adjust seasoning, and serve hot.

Notes

Use less Cajun seasoning or extra honey if you prefer a milder flavor.

Add more water during cooking if the sauce thickens too fast before the pasta is done.

Freshly grated Parmesan melts better and provides a richer flavor than pre-shredded.
