2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)
10 ounces cooked noodles (lo mein, ramen, or spaghetti)
1 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
1 tablespoon oil for cooking
Instructions
1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
2. Add ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and no longer pink.
3. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and a splash of water. Pour into the skillet and stir to coat the beef.
4. Add shredded carrots and cooked noodles. Toss everything together until heated through and well coated in the sauce.
5. Drizzle in sesame oil, then garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and chili flakes if using. Serve hot.
Notes
Make sure to use fresh garlic and ginger for best flavor.
Adjust soy sauce based on sodium preference; use low-sodium if desired.
Don’t overcook the noodles when reheating—add a splash of water to bring back texture.
